Recent paper from Dr. Santanu Bhattacharyya published in the Journal of Alloys and Compounds deals with understanding the role of dominant crystal facets on heterogeneous catalytic activity of BiOBr nanomaterials: Boosting catalytic efficiency through Fe (III)/Fe(II) incorporation.

Dr. Himanshu Singh was awarded prestigious ISMAR - JMR Young Scientist Award at the recently held ISMAR 2023 Conference in Brisbane, Australia. Sponsored by Elsevier award carries a certificate, and $500 USD. Dr. Singh was engaged in a discussion about his publication, titled "Evolution of Conformational Dynamics in an Epigenetic DNA Reader," published in the Nucleic Acids Research Journal.

The aim of the First Annual Physics Symposium hosted by the Department of Physical Sciences, IISER Berhampur, is to initiate discussions on forming a "Physics Cluster" among some of the academic centers located in the central & South Odisha Regions.

In the workshop, she would share practically deployable tools to empower female students of IISER pursuing education in science to strengthen their inner self, thereby enabling them to utilize their potential optimally.
