Berhampur, India – On the 31st of October 2023, the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Berhampur hosted an engaging townhall event as part of the Amrit Kaal Vimarsh (Viksit Bharat @ 2047) initiative. The event, inaugurated by the Director, Prof. Ashok K Ganguli, witnessed a remarkable gathering of visionaries and thought leaders who shared insights on various facets of women empowerment, innovation, and sustainability. Prof. Ganguli, in his welcome address, set the tone for the event and emphasized the importance of fostering forward-thinking in Amrit Kaal as the country approaches the year 2047.
The event featured two insightful sessions: a panel discussion and special invited talks, each providing a platform for the exchange of ideas and inspiration.
