This instrument is for characterizing nano and micro particles in dispersions and solutions. It is used for the determination of particle size, zeta potential, and molecular mass by the method of dynamic light scattering (DLS) and Electrophoresis light scattering (ELS).

Important Features of the System:

  1. Light source: Laser (40 mW), 658 nm.
  2. Measurement angles: 15°, 90°, 175°.
  3. Measuring range: 0.3 nm – 10 μm (particle diameter).
  4. Temperature control range: 0oC-90oC (±0.1).
  5. Range for molecular weight determination: ~ 500 Dalton to 2 x 107 Dalton or better.
  6. Measuring range (Zeta potential): -600 to +600 mV.
  7. Connected with autotitrator controllable by software for accessing of size, zeta potential as a function of pH (range 2-13).
