The Raman Microscope is a laser-based microscopic device used to perform Raman spectroscopy. The term mole (molecular optics laser examination) is used to refer to the Raman-based microprobe.

Important Features of the System:

  1. Analysis of samples with uneven, curved or rough surfaces.
  2. Measurement of any form of sample like powder, liquid and thin film.
  3. Measurements on minute traces of material as well as on large volumes.
  4. Data can be recorded with resolution of ~ 0.5 cm-1.
  5. Detailed chemical images and specific data from discrete points can be obtained.
