Professor Yogendra Sharma is a Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences and the Dean of Faculty Affairs at the Institute. Before moving to IISER Berhampur, Professor Sharma was the Chief Scientist at the CSIR-CCMB, Hyderabad, and currently a J C Bose National Fellow. He is also the Fellow of all the three national academies.
