Prof. Ashok K. Ganguli Delivered Prof. Sripati Pani Memorial Endowment Lecture at Sambalpur University

Prof. Ashok K. Ganguli, Director of the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Berhampur, delivered the Prof. Sripati Pani Memorial Endowment Lecture–2026 at Sambalpur University as part of the university’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

The lecture, titled “Design of Advanced Functional Materials,” was held at the Prof. Sripati Pani Seminar Hall, School of Chemistry, Sambalpur University.

Prof. Ganguli spoke on the design and development of advanced functional materials, a field of significant importance to contemporary materials science and technology. His lecture highlighted the scientific approaches and emerging possibilities in the development of functional materials for diverse applications.

The memorial lecture honours the contributions of Late Prof. Sripati Pani, a distinguished academic and former Professor and Head of the School of Chemistry at Sambalpur University. The 2026 edition formed part of the university’s year-long Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

The event was organized by the School of Chemistry, Sambalpur University, and brought together members of the academic and research community to commemorate the legacy of Prof. Sripati Pani and engage with contemporary developments in the field of advanced functional materials.
