About me

Md Nasim was born in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal. He completed his primary education in his village. He earned his B.Sc. in 2007 and M.Sc. in 2009 in physics from Burdwan University. Then he completed his PhD at NISER, Bhubaneswar (2009-2014), followed by a postdoctoral tenure at UCLA, USA (2014-2017). Currently, Nasim serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Sciences at IISER Berhampur. His research focuses on experimental high-energy physics, particularly the QCD phase diagram, collective phenomena, strange hadrons, and heavy flavor.
