Biography
****1 Postdoctoral Position and 1 Ph.D. position available in Group****
Dr. Vyas Akondi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Sciences at IISER Berhampur, specializing in the field of applied optics. His research is focused on wavefront sensing, adaptive optics, and advanced optical imaging techniques. He is particularly interested in the development and application of Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensors and adaptive optics systems, with applications ranging from ophthalmology to microscopy. Dr. Akondi's lab is currently engaged in several significant projects, including a SERB-funded initiative to design an adaptive optics structured illumination microscope. He is keen to expand his research team and is looking for enthusiastic researchers to join him in advancing these cutting-edge projects.
