The International Conference on Synthetic and Biomolecular Chemistry 2026 (ICSBC 2026) is being organised by the Department of Chemical Sciences, IISER Berhampur, Odisha, on 12-13th December2026. This international meeting will primarily address the recent trends in various aspects of molecular and biomolecular catalysis and their wide range of applications. The major aims are to bring together top researchers from around the world. The topics to be covered in this conference are: Metal- and non-metal-catalysed transformations; Enzyme catalysis; Electrocatalysis and energyconversion; and Metals in diseases and Medicine. This conference would be a great opportunity for young researchers to engage with eminent researchers in this field and to foster interdisciplinarycollaboration and networking. The conference will include plenary lectures by eminent scientists, followed by several keynote lectures.
The organizing institute, IISER Berhampur, situated on the coasts of the Bay of Bengal, is the youngest among all the IISERs in the country, with state-of-the-art research infrastructure and facilities. This conference will also provide an excellent platform for our students and researchscholars to engage more with esteemed delegate speakers and discuss their research outcomes.
